Which of the two office packages do you turn to for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations, etc? I've been using MS office since then and I actually haven't tried giving OpenOffice a shot. How do these softwares compare? I have a strong feeling that MS office is the winner, but I may be wrong.![]()
I don't use the functions often enough to by the software. I use OpenOffice and it works for me. I like it and it's easy to use, at least for me. I have used it for quite some time and I haven't had any trouble with it. But as I said, I don't use it often enough to compare the two fairly.
MS office is WAY better! I can't afford it right now so I am using Open Office and I hate it. The basics are still there, but it's not a easy to navigate or work with as MS office is.
I vote for MS Office. I can't stand Open Office. I use Word darn near everyday for work and the Open Office version is just a pain and doesn't work the way I want it to.
I think Open Office would be fine for someone who has never used MS Office, but if you're used to MS Office you should stick with that.
I have to use MS office just because I find myself running into incompatibility issues when I use OpenOffice.
I have always been using MS Office, especially Word and Excel. Just a few days ago I downloaded and installed Open Office in my computer. It looks wonderful for a free software.
Open Office Writer is just as good as MS Word. They are pretty much the same to me. I don't have much info on all the other spreadsheets and presentation stuff but open office saved me a hundred bucks which is very nice!
I find that MS Office is much more advanced considering the availability of extra functions you can process to give a fine look.
10 pounds, me love you long time!
We use Quicken Office. I've never tried either of the other 2. But I do use Microsoft for Word Perfect.
