The FATHER, The SON and The HOLY GHOST

How do you see them? Are they 3 different bodies? We know Jesus is the Son. Anyway Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God.

When you invision God and try to put a face to him or her what face do you give him or her?

Jesus? How did he really look? Remember he's Jewish.

And the Holy Ghost? What is the Holy Ghost?

I personally like to think Jesus was jsut a carpenter with a great message.

But froma biblial perspective I've always thought the Holy ghost was Jesus' spirit. No?

Yes, 3 persons, one God. It's always hard to understand when we attribute human characteristics to God. Notice
in Genesis 1:27 that God created man both male and female.
" So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."

And it isn't until after the naming of the animals in Genesis 2 :22-23 that God takes woman "out" of man.

22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said,This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man

Just to be clear, I respect everyone's religious beliefs. I do not agree with religion and although I want to believe in God and Jesus, I don't believe that much anymore. At least I don't think God play that much of a role in our lives, if any. I was raised catholic so my views will probably come out as catholic although I have read on Christianity. If I sound offensive at times I do apologize, I try not to. Just wanted to get that out, in case I go overboard.

    Back to the questions.

How do you see them? Are they 3 different bodies? We know Jesus is the Son. Anyway Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God. I believe they are suppose to be 3 separate bodies.

When you invision God and try to put a face to him or her what face do you give him or her? It is hard to put a face to God. It is said we are made in his image so its only natural to give him a human face.

Jesus? How did he really look? Remember he's Jewish. Probably the way he is resembled everywhere. Is there any description of him anywhere? How did we come about his image?

And the Holy Ghost? What is the Holy Ghost? Yeah, I am wondering the same thing.

Spit Personality. You must not be much of a Catholic if you haven't figured out they are Christian.
When you look into the face of any person, you are looking into the face of God.

Jesus was Jewish. I suspect the pictures we see of Him aren't exactly accurate. I suspect he had a Jewish nose, long hair and long face. And he worked as a carpenter, before he began His journey from life to death.

You are correct Draggy. I am not a catholic. I was raised catholic but I don't practice it. Yes, I know that Catholics and Christians are essentially the same thing. Lets not kid ourselves, they have two different views and that is why they are two different religions and becoming more apart. Many Christians and Catholics do not want to be associated with each other.

Not wanting to associate with each other is FALSE Split Personality. We have Catholics who come to our Church services. And we go to the Catholics services from time to time. The only way your going to understand how Catholics are Christians is to look and see who was the 1st Pope. Google it and read then come back and we'll continue this discussion. I'll give you a hint..it was one of the disciples of Jesus.

ummm what dont you get. I have already agreed with you that catholics and christians are the same. Actually from what I know, catholics are like a sub division of Christians with Chrsitians being the top rank. Am I wrong or right on this? What I have been stating is that due to different beliefs, these 2 religions, which are practically the same thing, are growing further apart. In fact many Christians find it an insult to be called a cathlolic, and catholics do not want to be labeled as Christians, even though they are. While at your church, you might get a long, that is not the case all around. I cannot tell you which happens more, you're way or the other way, but I can tell you, and this from talking to many Christians and many Catholics, they tend to despise the other.
Since you are a church going person, I would assume that you would know more of this than I do. They may teach you to get a long at your church but can you tell me that this is taught all around. I do not think you can. All I can say is from what I have heard, seen and read, these 2 similar religions have issues within each other and disagree on interpretations of the Bible and its meanings and several other things.

Split Personality you did not do what I asked you to do and check and see who was the 1st Pope. When you do it will answer all your questions. Christians and Catholics ARE the same we all believe the same. I have not one clue who you are taking to but they are wrong. There are Protestant and Catholic Christians. I'm a Protestant meaning I go to a Church that does not require you go to mass once a day nor do they require confession. These 2 things are basically the only difference. My Protestant Church follows Catholic teaching as do many Protestant Churches.
I'll say this one more time...the Catholic Church was the 1st Christian Church in the whole world. It was started by one of the disciples of Jesus as he was directed by Jesus.
Nuns marry into the Catholic Church..they marry the Bridegroom of the Church..Jesus. Protestants have no Nuns and they for the most part have no unmarried priests, some do, like the Episcopal Churches, Protestant but have a Priest as their pastor who is allowed to marry. Catholic priests are not allowed to marry because...Jesus never married. In my Church we have Ash Wednesday, Maundry Thursday, Good Friday and Easter to celebrate the death and resurection of Jesus. Catholics do the same ceremonies. Some of my best friends are Catholic.
I cannot understand what I am leaving out that you can't understand. ????
