My daughter is 2 and 1/2 and goes #1 in her potty very well but will not even try going #2 on the potty![]()
Any advice on what I should try
Hi jay! I babysit a 2 year old and a 2/1/2 year old. Their parents, have us doing a sticker chart. I t doesn't work, cuz they do not do it, when they are home. It always takes more time to teach a baby, to poop in a toilet. No worries, it will happen. Do not get mad at her. They are little humans, having fun. Living a life, pissing in a toilet! Be happy for that. The poop thing, will happen! Start worrying, when she is 4! ( oh, then accidents will happen then, also! ) Try to teach her, do not get mad. Do not make her scared of the potty.
I've potty trained 3 boys and it's not an easy chore but you have to be consistant. I took their diapers off and put them in jockey shorts and they never had anything but jockey shorts. No pull ups, nothing. And it came pretty easy the first time each of them filled their shorts. All it took was one time. Be patient and be consistant is the best advice I can give.
